US spying on Iran from Turkey

Something tells me that the Turks will not allow this to continue.
A document released by Wikileaks Wednesday says that the U.S. has been using its embassy in Turkey to gather intelligence on Iran. According to the cable released from the U.S. embassy in Turkey, the information was gathered through Iranian citizens living in Turkey.

The Iranians who were contacted by the Americans were threatened by Iranian agents not to have contact with American diplomats, the cable said, and the information was gathered in clandestine ways to ensure their safety.
I haven't seen any reaction to this from Turkey yet.

Has anybody seen anything about Turkey thinking of dropping out of NATO? Because as long as they under the NATO umbrella, no one (EU, US) will act against them, and they will benefit from NATO reaction if anybody else acts against them. But they also have to allow NATO stuff (like AF bases, etc.). It makes me sad that the Turkish military safety net has lost its mojo re keeping Turkey moving forward. I keep trying to figure out whether the military has been intimidated into not putting their foot down as they have in the past or whether the military people are becoming more supportive of Islamic practices in the public sphere...
